I am a Certified Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist & Coach and I have combined my knowledge from my career in physical therapy to develop this amazing program! I love being a mama to my little boy and I'm a true choreographer at heart! I've been a dance instructor about 15 years so I know what it feels like to desperately want to get back to doing the things you love! It's very important to have a functioning pelvic floor if you want to dance!
Through my own pregnancy and postpartum journey, I was disheartened by the lack of resources provided to me, so I dove into learning as much as I could. I felt so empowered in my pregnancy and more connected with my mind and body - then postpartum hit and I went through some issues reconnecting to my pelvic floor. I developed my own program and it helped me so much that I decided to share it because I want to help other women - and let you know that you are not alone! Many women have suffered through this (in silence), over many generations, so I'm making it my mission to be a part of that change!
About ten years ago, I took my Grandmother to the doctor because she was developing dementia. The doctor immediately stopped her prescription to a pill that she used for over 30 years to assist with bladder issues, which he believed may have caused dementia. She had a long history of pelvic floor problems after having 3 children, multiple surgeries and no education provided. This is when I first learned about the pelvic floor - which led me to physical therapy. If only my Grandmother had the knowledge I have today, maybe there would've been no surgeries, no pills and no dementia. This is also a big reason why I started New Wave Fit - for my Grandmother Betty Jo and all of the women out there that need these resources. When we open up the conversation and start learning more, we are literally changing the way that generations of women take care of themselves!

How long will it take to go through the program & see results?

All of my videos are short and easily accessible from your phone so you can do this at home or even on the go! The time frame is really up to you because you are in the driver seat - but I have a daily recommended schedule that you follow so that you should have a much better understanding of your pelvic floor and see results within one week! With that said, everyone is different so your results will be different - you may feel the connection and activation, you may feel the release and lengthening, you may feel stronger and more supported or you may be able to identify your problem areas. However,  I do not make any guarantees that this will stop your pelvic floor issues. This is the first step to exploring your pelvic floor and any issues you have - once you understand your body - you will be ready to dive deeper or you may even need to seek outside help from a Pelvic Floor Therapist.

Once you signup, you will receive an email and you can immediately login to the New Wave Fit website and start the program! It is organized into sections so please start in the appropriate section depending on where you are in your journey. You should be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant if purchasing this program, therefore you should start at the very beginning.

When is it safe to start this program?

Please ensure you are cleared by your doctor to do exercise before beginning any prenatal exercise.

If you are in your 4th Trimester (the 12-week period after having your baby), then you MUST start with the 4th Trimester Postpartum Rehab section as it safely and slowly guides you through the healing process.

How long will I have access to the product?

The time limit on completion of the course is 15 months following the date of purchase, so you may go at your own pace! It is designed to help you for 9 months of your prenatal journey and another 6 months following birth for your postpartum journey.
